A multireality “Deadzone” conceptualized, designed, and executed for the Deadfellaz community during NFT.NYC. Transforming the nightclub Elsewhere, the web3 world was made tangible with site-specific installations and 3D atmospheric AR.

The venue was transformed into the Deadfellaz world through the cohesive use of neon signage, caution tapes, and graffiti construction scrims on metal fences.

Using motifs of metal grates hanging overhead, the dance floor was designed to appear underground giving illusion of depths above with piercing light beams and fog.
The stage was designed to look like an extension of the dance floor so as to blur the divide between the audience and the performer.

NFT as AR Atmosphere
We made the NFT collection of Deadfrenz bats into a 3D AR atmosphere to materialize the web3 space in the extended reality.
Betty’s
We staged the iconic Betty throne with glitch-y billboard of DFZ amongst the distressed landscaping.

A live visual package imagined and created for the stage of Deadfellaz @ NFT.NYC, featuring Princess Nokia, LATASHÁ, Domino, and Ed Balloon. The stage served as a window into the lore, and custom visuals and lighting portrayed the Deadfellaz world aesthetically unique to each performer.
NFTs
During the time between performances, the scenery was set as a view out onto a rooftop within the Deadzone, where the animated Deadfellaz NFTs of Betty and Psych would walk into the frame as hologram-like figures that we created using mocap technique.
Ed Balloon
The visual loop for Ed Balloon was themed on his name with the balloon motif, and intense emotions captured in his lyrics and instrumentals. We created a variety of edits to Ed’s original claymation videos as well to bring the performance to life.


Domino
For Domino’s travel-inspired set, we created a cinematic loop of driving on top of Deadzone’s Walled City and minimalist visual direction for the overall show duration with emphasis on sunset hued lighting.


LATASHÁ
We created a glitch-y exploration through the streets of apocalyptic collaged urban lanscape for LATASHÁ with pops of candy-colored billboards.

A pop-up retail and community hub in SoHo designed for the launch of HYPEGOLF, a new golf-centric vertical from HYPEBEAST. Amidst the confinement of the pandemic, the need for expansion, simulation, and nature gave rise to golf as an apropos social activity. In designing the HYPEGOLF Clubhouse, these three core drives of global cultural context became the conceptual and aesthetic theme. A surreal landscape and apparel installation encapsulates an infinite playing field inside a minimalist black glass box. Across the deep stretch of the store, perimeter plywood display units establish an architectural rhythm, interjected by matte black display units that divides the footprint at the center to create a more social environment for the rear half. Display units integrate abstracted newspaper-print photography turning the store environment into an experiential moodboard.

A Jimmy Kimmel Live! performance stage conceptualized, designed, and produced for Charlie Puth’s song “Light Switch.” Leveraging the studio’s LED screens and gloss flooring, the stage became an abstract depiction of feelings with pulsating “blind” visual and floor lamps in reference to light elements at home.
