BEM 2.0 ALBUM LISTENING PARTY
OVERVIEW
For a non-profit film and emerging technology festival, Filmgate Interactive, a Miami-based electornic duo Paperwater invited me to create 360-degree dome projection live visuals for their album listening experience.
With the canvas being 78-ft diameter circle magnificently hovering above the audience, I conceptualized the looping visuals to interact with the architecture in motion that would help make the experience transcendental. As the worldbuilding motif across all scenes, I custom designed 3D heads of Daygee and Eddy inspired by Afrofuturist iconography, with exchanging brainwaves integrated into their instruments.
