DEADFELLAZ @ NFT.NYC


IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE


A multireality “Deadzone” conceptualized, designed, and executed for the Deadfellaz community during NFT.NYC. Transforming the nightclub Elsewhere, we made Deadfellaz’s worldbuilding lore tangible with site-specific immersive installations and 3D atmospheric AR.  




Deadzone Cityscape
The venue was transformed into the Deadfellaz world through the cohesive use of neon signage, caution tapes, and graffiti construction scrims on metal fences.














DANCE FLOOR

Using motifs of metal grates hanging overhead, the dance floor was designed to appear underground giving illusion of depths above with piercing light beams and fog.

The stage was designed to look like an extension of the dance floor so as to blur the divide between the audience and the performer.










NFT as AR Atmosphere
We made the NFT collection of Deadfrenz bats into a 3D AR atmosphere to materialize the web3 space in the extended reality.




Betty’s

We staged the iconic Betty throne with glitch-y billboard of DFZ amongst the distressed landscaping.
