Womb / Tomb is an immersive theater funeral honoring my friend Amanda's baby Zipora Rosa, a baby whose life ended before birth due to a rare de novo mutation of the cul3 gene.

By making it as a site-specific ceremony in Amanda's store — which she opened to support her baby — and embodied performance by Amanda herself channeling the spirit of a bird mother, we held space for joy and tragedy and ushered the spirit of Baby Zi into eternity.
