BIO

Sayoko Osada is a multidisciplinary artist, director, and production designer originally from Tokyo and based in New York. With over a decade of experience across music, brand, and cultural contexts, she has directed and designed live shows and immersive experiences for clients including Nike, Coachella, Jimmy Kimmel, Charlie Puth, HYPEBEAST, Paperwater, Viktoria Modesta, and Beyoncé.

Her artistic practice operates as the experimental counterpart to her commercial work, creating expanded theater works that explore nightlife and urban spectacle as sites of collective and psychological experience. Her work unfolds as multimedia scenography, integrating spatial composition, projection, collage, and performance. Emerging from her involvement in local music and art communities, her projects often take shape through collaborative processes.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Cincinnati (DAAP).
