Sayoko Osada is an artist, creative director, and set designer, from Tokyo, based in New York. She creates assemblages of multisensory elements through collages, installations, films / videos, and performances to convey the essence.

Since immigrating from Japan to the United States as a teenager, she began working with verbal and nonverbal languages as the foundation of her expressions.  

After graduating with BS Architecture from University of Cincinnati, she has been working as a freelance creative director and set / spatial / stage / production designer in the industries of music, film, and fashion. 

Her emerging filmmaking and visual art practice explores themes related to the human experience, such as identities, impermanence, transformation, and perceived reality.
